1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1 lb. diced dates
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 tsp. baking powder

Sift dry ingredients together. Add dates to flour mixture. Beat eggs and sugar together, add nuts then flour mixture. Bake in pan 10 x 14 x 2 inches for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
