BUTTERSCOTCH SAUCE 
1 1/2 c. dark brown sugar
4 tbsp. flour
1 c. boiling water
Dash of salt
4 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. Carnation cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar and flour, then boiling water and salt. Stir and cook for 6 or 8 minutes. Take off stove and add butter, cream and vanilla. Blend well and keep warm until used.
