1 pkg. yellow cake mix, reserving 1 c.
1/2 c. melted butter
1 egg
2 cans apple/cherry pie filling
1/4 c. melted butter
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Grease the bottom only of a 9"x13" pan. Stir together in the pan the cake mix, melted butter and egg. Spread the pie filling on top of the batter. Combine the 1 cup reserved cake mix, 1/4 cup melted butter, sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the pie filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
