CHUNK SWEET PICKLES 
1 qt. dill pickles
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cider vinegar
2 tbsp. pickling spice in cheesecloth bag

Drain pickles and cut into chunks. Simmer sugar and vinegar until sugar is dissolved, do not boil. Cool slightly. Return pickles to jar with bag of pickling spice in middle. Add solution. Cover and turn jar onto lid. Turn over jar each day for 4 days.
