BEST EVER COOKIES 
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1/2 c. salad oil
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. rice crispy cereal or crushed corn flakes
1/2 c. coconut
1/2 c. regular oats, uncooked
1/2 c. pecans or walnuts

Combine white and brown sugar together and mix. Add butter and salad oil and vanilla in a large bowl and mix well. Add to creamed mixture and stir until well blended. Stir in cereals, oats, coconut and nuts and mix well. Place on greased cookie sheet 1 inch apart and flatten with a fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. If you use a Teflon cookie sheet, do not grease.
