BAKED BEEF BRISKET | |
4-6 lbs. beef brisket 1/2 c. soy sauce 1 can beef consomme 1 tbsp. vinegar 1 tbsp. liquid smoke 2 cloves garlic, minced Mix together all ingredients except meat. Marinade meat overnight in refrigerator. Place meat and marinade in oven-proof pan. Cover tightly and bake at 300 degrees for 4-5 hours (depending on weight). NOTE: I shred the leftover meat and mix with barbecue sauce and marinade to taste. Makes great BBQ sandwiches. |
