ASPARAGUS BUNDLES 
8 green onion tops
2 lbs. asparagus, trimmed
Thyme (fresh if possible)

Bring a small amount of water to boil, add onion tops. Remove from heat. Let stand 1 minute. Remove tops from water.

When cool tie each green onion top around 4 or 5 asparagus spears. Return water to boiling, add asparagus bundles. Reduce heat, cover, simmer 4 to 8 minutes. When serving sprinkle with thyme.
