HOLIDAY PORK CHOPS 
3 tbsp. vegetable oil
6 center cut pork chops
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. port wine
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1 c. cranberry sauce

Heat oil in large skillet. Add chops and brown on both sides. Remove chops to baking dish.

Combine brown sugar, wine and spices in saucepan. Heat until sugar melts. Add cranberry sauce, stir and blend. Pour over chops. Cover with foil and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour or longer if necessary.
