BLUEBERRY CRUMBLE | |
1 qt. fresh or frozen blueberries 2 tsp. lemon juice 1/3 c. granulated sugar 1/3 c. dark brown sugar 4 tbsp. butter, cut up 1/2 c. flour 1 1/4 c. dry quick-cooking oats 1/2 tsp. cinnamon Set oven at 350 degrees. Grease an 8 inch shallow baking dish. Place the berries in the dish and sprinkle with lemon juice and granulated sugar. In mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, butter, flour, oats and cinnamon. With pastry blender, work the butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles crumbs. Sprinkle the mixture over the blueberries and transfer dish to oven. Bake for 40 minutes or until top is golden brown, and blueberry mixture is bubbling at the edges. Serve warm with ice cream or whip cream. |
