MACARONI AND HAM BAKE 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni
6 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. pkg. unseasoned bread crumbs
1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. white pepper
2 c. milk
1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1 1/2 c. cooked ham in 1/2 inch cubes

Cook macaroni following package directions to al dente stage; drain and return to pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter a 2 quart casserole. In a medium size saucepan, melt butter. Remove from heat. Measure out 2 tablespoons flour and set aside with bread crumbs. Add milk and flour alternately to make a smooth paste. Add cheese and pepper. Add ham to macaroni and sauce. Put bread crumbs on top; bake for 30 minutes until bubbly.
