GRANDMA'S PEACH COBBLER | |
1 stick butter 1 c. flour 1 c. sugar 3 tsp. baking powder 3/4 - 1 c. milk 3 c. fresh sliced sweetened peaches or 1 lg. can sliced peaches Set oven to 350 degrees F. first. Melt butter in oven as it is preheating in large cake pan. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and milk together. Heat peaches until boiling. Add 2-3 teaspoons cornstarch in 1/4 cup water to thicken peach juice as it heats. Once butter is melted, pour batter over melted butter. Last pour peaches over batter. Bake 350- degrees 20-30 minutes until golden brown. |
