SLICED BAKED POTATOES 
4 med. baking potatoes (Idaho preferred)
1 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. melted butter
3 tbsp. dried herbs (such as parsley, sage, oregano, or basil)
4 tbsp. grated Cheddar cheese
2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese

Peel potatoes if the skin is tough, otherwise, just wash and rinse them off. Cut potatoes into thin slices, but not all the way through. Put potatoes in a baking dish. Fan them slightly. Sprinkle with salt and drizzle with butter. Sprinkle with herbs.

Bake potatoes at 425 degrees for 50 minutes. Remove from oven. Sprinkle with cheeses. Bake for another 10 to 15 minutes until cheeses are melted and potatoes are soft inside. Serves 4.
