THE BETTER CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 egg
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. wheat germ
1/2 c. chocolate chips

Cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Add egg. Combine the flours, baking powder and wheat germ. Stir into the butter mixture, blending well. Add the chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoons onto greased pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
