1 pkg. crackers (saltines - takes 35 crackers)
2 sticks butter ( 1 c.)
1 c. light brown sugar
1 (12 oz.) semi sweet chocolate chips
Layer saltines on foil-lined 15x10 inch pan or cookie sheet with sides. Boil butter and sugar for 3 minutes. Pour or spoon sugar/butter mixture over saltines. Bake 6-7 minutes. Remove from oven and spread chocolate chips over cooked saltines. Don't let cool. Do it right over oven door. Cool in refrigerator. Break into pieces and freeze. Bake at 400 degrees for 6-7 minutes. Watch carefully.
