MAPLE PECAN PIE 
9 inch unbaked pie shell
3 eggs
3/4 c. light brown sugar
2 tbsp. all purpose flour
1 1/4 c. maple flavored syrup
1/4 c. butter, melted
1 c. coarsely chopped pecans
Whipped cream (optional)

Prepare pie shell; refrigerate until ready to fill. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In medium bowl, beat eggs slightly with rotary beater. Add sugar, flour, syrup, and butter; beat until well blended. Stir in chopped pecans. Turn into unbaked pie shell, bake 40-45 minutes, or just until filling is set in center. (Shake pie gently; center should be firm.) Let cool on wire rack. If desired, serve garnished with whipped cream.
