BEEF AND VEGETABLE SOUP 
1 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion
6 potatoes, cubed
2 c. chopped cabbage
1 can cream corn
2 lg. cans tomatoes
1 qt. water
1 stick butter
1 pkg. mixed vegetables or 1 pkg. vegetables combo frozen or assorted leftover vegetables
Salt and pepper to taste

Brown ground beef and onions. Drain fat. Add water, tomatoes and potatoes. Boil 5 minutes. Add mixed vegetables. Simmer until almost tender. Add cabbage, cream corn and butter. Serve with hot bread.
