BANANA SPLIT CAKE 
1/2 box cake mix or 1 box Washington cake mix
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 sm. pkg. vanilla instant pudding
1 1/2 c. milk
1 can crushed pineapple, drained
Sliced bananas
1 container Cool Whip
Pecans
Maraschino cherries
Chocolate syrup

FIRST LAYER: Make cake mix according to directions on box. Decrease baking time by half. Cool.

SECOND LAYER: Mix softened cream cheese and pudding, gradually add milk.

THIRD LAYER: Crushed pineapple, drained.

FOURTH LAYER: Sliced bananas.

FIFTH LAYER: Cover with Cool Whip, sprinkle with pecans, arrange maraschino cherries, and drizzle with chocolate syrup.
