1/2 c. shortening (Crisco)
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. mashed bananas
1 tsp. baking soda
4 tbsp. sour milk
1 tsp. baking powder
2 level c. flour

Cream shortening; add sugar gradually. Beat 2 eggs; add to creamed mixture. Add 1 cup mashed bananas, beat. Mix baking soda with sour milk; add to mixture. Add flour with baking powder gradually.

Use a 7 1/4 x 11 1/4 greased and floured pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. When cool, may be iced with a white confectioner sugar icing.
