HONEY ORANGE CAKE 
3/4 c. orange juice
1 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. honey
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs, well beaten
2 1/2 c. unbleached flour

Heat 3/4 cup orange juice to lukewarm. Stir in yeast and let soften. Cream butter, gradually beating in honey. Add salt, eggs and yeast mixture. Stir in flour. Beat until smooth. Stir in currants. Pour batter into greased pan, cover and let rise in warm place until doubled in bulk. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 35 to 40 minutes until done. Remove. Pour 1 1/2 cups orange syrup over cake. Remove from pan and cool. Top each serving with honey orange syrup.
