TEXAS CAKE 
Cake:

1 c butter
1 c water
4 tbsp. chocolate (Use high quality chocolate)
2 c flour
2 c sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1/2 c sour cream or buttermilk

Bring butter, water and chocolate to a boil. Add at once remaining ingredients. Mix well and pour into jelly roll pan.

Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes. Pour icing on as soon as you remove cake from oven.

Icing:

1/2 stick butter
6 tbsp. milk
4 tbsp. chocolate
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. chocolate liqueur (optional)
1 c chopped nuts

Bring butter, milk and chocolate to a boil. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well.
