A BITE OF BROWNIE 
1 c. butter, softened
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. all purpose flour
4 oz. unsweetened chocolate
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Pecans, optional

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy in large mixer bowl. Add eggs, melted chocolate and vanilla; beat well. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; blend into creamed mixture. Stir in pecans. Drop teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 9 minutes (do not over bake.) Cool on cookie sheet for about one minute; remove to wire rack and cool completely. Makes about 4 1/2 dozen. ENJOY!
