BUTTERSCOTCH BROWNIES 
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 tbsp. dark molasses
7/8 c. sugar
1/2 c. walnuts or pecans, broken
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. wheat germ
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. powdered milk
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Combine and stir first 8 ingredients. Sift in powdered milk and baking powder. Stir well. Spread in 8 x 8 inch pan which has been lined with heavy greased paper. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Turn out of pan. Remove paper immediately. Cut in squares while hot.
