6 WEEK MUFFIN MIX 
1 (15 oz.) box Raisin Bran or 40% Bran Flakes
1 c. melted shortening
3 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 qt. buttermilk
5 c. flour
5 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt

Mix bran flakes with buttermilk and add remaining ingredients. Pour batter in muffin tins as needed. Bake 15-20 minutes at 400 degrees. Muffin dough may be refrigerated for 6 weeks and used as needed.
