CREAM CHEESE RUGLACH | |
1 c. sweet butter (1/2 lb.) 6 oz. cream cheese, room temperature 2 3/4 c. sifted flour 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. chopped walnuts 1/2 c. raisins 1 tsp. cinnamon Cream butter and cheese together, blend in flour - wrap in wax paper and place in refrigerator overnight. Next morning, cut dough in half. Place half on floured board and roll to form large square of 1/2 inch thickness. Fold square and place in refrigerator. Do same with 2nd half. Then roll 1st half on floured board to 1/4 inch thickness. Slice in strips - cut in triangles. Mix sugar, raisins, nuts and cinnamon together - place tablespoon of mixture on each triangle and roll beginning at wide end of triangle. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes. |
