2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. sour milk
4 1/2 c. flour & 2 tbsp.
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt

Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs and beat well. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add baking soda to sour milk. Add this alternately with the flour mixture. Add vanilla.

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees about 10 minutes. When cool, frost each cookie, half vanilla and half chocolate icing.
