1 box white or yellow cake mix
1 can crushed pineapple
1 can cherry pie filling

In a 9x13 cake pan, on the bottom put crushed pineapple and pie filling. Put the dry cake mix on top of fillings. Then sprinkle coconut on top of this. Cut up 1/4 lb. butter on top of coconut. Put some ground walnuts on top of that. Cut up another 1/4 lb. of butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
