MELTAWAY MINTS 
Peppermint flavored square chocolate mints, to be dipped. Melt over hot water in a double boiler;

Beat until smooth, then add:

Beat until just blended. Pour into a small bowl and put into refrigerator until it is the consistency of soft custard. Stir down from the sides of the bowl occasionally and also from the bottom of the bowl. When cool and like soft custard, beat it with an electric mixer about half a minute. It will appear lighter in color and texture. Do not overbeat.

Mix in:

Pour out at once on a waxed paper-lined pan, about 10 x 13 inches. Place a piece of waxed paper on top of batch and smooth level to make uniform thickness.

Let stand in a cool place until firm but not hard, cut into squares and leave in the pan until ready to dip.
