CHOCOLATE-CARAMEL BARS 
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. butter
1/3 c. evaporated milk

Mix these 3 ingredients together. Pat 1/2 of mixture in 9 x 13 inch pan and bake for 6 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with 1 small package chocolate chips and 1 cup pecans or walnuts. Melt 30-40 caramels in 1/3 cup evaporated milk in double boiler and drizzle over chips and nuts. Add other half of cake mix and bake 15-20 minutes in 350 degree oven.
