SUNDAY SPECIAL BEEF BRISKET 
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. cider vinegar
1 c. water
1 c. catsup
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. dry mustard
2 tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 med. onion, chopped
5-7 lbs. fresh beef brisket
1 env. dry onion soup mix

Melt butter; add vinegar, water, catsup and Worcestershire sauce. Add remaining ingredients except brisket and soup mix, stirring well. Cook over medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes; set aside.
