EGG NOG PIE 
1 tsp. gelatin
1 tbsp. cold water
1 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
3 egg yolks, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. cream
Pie shell and nutmeg

Scald milk in double boiler, combine sugar, starch, salt and mix well. Add to milk and cook until thick and smooth plus 15 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir small amount of cooked mixture into egg yolks and return to double boiler. Add gelatin soaked in cold water. Add butter and then cool. Nutmeg may be added too. When cool beat and fold into cream that is whipped. Put into pie shell and sparkle with nutmeg and then refrigerate.
