PUNCH 
2 pkgs. cherry flavored instant soft drink mix
1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice
2 c. sugar
4 qts. water
1 lg. bottle ginger ale

Combine first four ingredients and place in freezer, stirring occasionally. Do not freeze solid. Add ginger ale just before serving. Punch is better mixed about 5 hours before serving. Some of the punch may be frozen in ice cube trays with green mint or cherries in each cube.
