ANNE'S BEEF STEW 
2 lbs. stew meat
3 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. Beau Monde
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1 beef bouillon cube
2 tbsp. tomato paste
1 c. hot water
1/4 c. dry red wine
1 tsp. Bouquet Garni
4 oz. canned mushrooms
6 sm. onions, chopped
3-4 carrots, sliced
1 c. peas
Rice

Combine first 6 ingredients and coat meat. Brown in 2 tablespoons oil. Combine next 5 ingredients and pour over meat. Add canned mushrooms. Simmer 2 to 3 hours. One hour before done, add onions, carrots and peas. Serve over rice.
