PUNCH BOWL CAKE | |
1 (2 layer) cake mix 2 cans cherry pie filling 1 can crushed pineapple, large 1 large container whipped topping Bake and cool cake as directed on package. Using about 1/3 of cake, tear into pieces in punch bowl. Top with 1 can of pie cherries, then 1/3 whipped topping. Repeat with 1/3 of cake and 1 can of drained pineapple and 1/3 of whipped topping. Repeat again with 1/3 of cake and 1 can of cherry pie filling. Finish off with whipped topping. Refrigerate. Can be done with any combination of fruits you prefer. Also very good made with chocolate cake, pie cherries and Cool Whip for a Black Forest cake. |
