CRACKER JACKS POPCORN 
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. corn syrup
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 gallons popcorn
Peanuts (opt.)

Boil butter, syrup, sugar, 5 minutes; add soda and vanilla. Cover popcorn with syrup. Bake in single layer in pans at 250 degrees for 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes. I use my big roaster and put all popped corn in same pan.
