Mix well. Shape into "patties" and fry in shortening until VERY lightly browned. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon if you like.

Combine flour, baking powder, salt ... thin and flat. Fry in hot shortening about 1 ... sides. Drain on paper towels. Serve hot with honey or jelly.

Mix together to make stiff ... places. Heat 1 inch cooking oil in a skillet and when hot, drop in bread. Brown on each side and drain. Serve hot.

Mix dry ingredients together. Cut ... pie dough. Knead until pliable. Pat and flatten dough into small circles. Fry in HOT oil. Serve with honey.
