1 chicken
1 1/3 c. minute rice
1 1/4 c. boiling water
1/2 pkg. dry onion soup mix
1 (10 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup

Mix all together except chicken in a 9 x 13 inch pan. Place chicken on the top. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. If not brown enough, put under broiler.
