QUICK CHILI 
1 lb. ground beef
1 tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed tomato soup
1 tsp. salt
4 tsp. chili powder
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1/16 tsp. red pepper
1 (16 oz.) can pinto beans

Cook onion and bell pepper in shortening until onion is slightly brown, then add ground beef. Stir frequently so there are no lumps of meat. Add tomato soup, salt, chili powder, black pepper and red pepper and beans. Heat mixture thoroughly and serve hot.
