FRENCH CHERRY PIE TORTE 
CRUST:

2 c. flour
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter

Mix ingredients like pie crust, and pat into 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. While still warm, crumble into pieces and press back into pan.

FILLING:

8 oz. pkg, cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lg. can cherry pie filling
1 c. confectioners' sugar
2 pkgs. Dream Whip

Mix cream cheese, sugar and vanilla together. Beat Dream Whip according to package directions and add to cheese mixture. Pour into crust and top with pie filling. Chill at least 12 hours.
