RED AND GREEN PEPPER GOULASH | |
3 med. green peppers (1 lb.) 3 med. red peppers (1 lb.) 1/4 c. salad oil 1 lg. sweet onion, peeled and thinly sliced 1 lg. tomato, peeled and coarsely chopped 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce Dash ground red pepper 1. Cut peppers in half lengthwise; remove seeds and ribs. Cut into thin slices; set aside. 2. Adjust grill 5 inches from prepared coals. Heat oil in a large square or round foil pan at edge of grill. 3. Add onion slices; saute, stirring occasionally until golden, about 10 minutes. 4. Add pepper and rest of ingredients to foil pan; cover top tightly with foil. Cook 10 minutes. Remove foil. Cover; cook, stirring occasionally, 10 to 15 minutes. |
