STUFFED PORK CHOPS | |
1 lb. ground pork 1 tbsp. minced garlic 1/2 c. finely chopped onion 1/2 tsp. salt or to taste 1 tsp. ground cayenne pepper or to taste 1/2 tsp. finely crushed dried mint Other spices of your liking 1 c. plain bread crumbs 6 pork chops, 1 inch thick, with a pocket sliced in the middle Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix all the ingredients together, except the pork chops, in a bowl. Sprinkle salt and pepper on the outside of each pork chop, then stuff the pocket of each with the meat dressing, and place in a greased baking dish. Bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Yield: 6 servings. |
