HOT CROSS BUNS 
1 pkg. active dry yeast
2/3 c. water
1 egg
1/4 c. sugar
2 3/4 c. Bisquick
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 c. raisins
1/4 c. fruit
Glaze (follows)

Grease 12 medium muffin cups. Dissolve yeast in warm water in large mixer bowl. Beat in egg, sugar and 1 1/2 cups of the baking mix on medium speed, scraping bowl frequently, 2 minutes. Beat in remaining baking mix, then cinnamon, nutmeg and fruit on low speed, scraping bowl occasionally. Fill muffin cups about 2/3 full. Let rise in warm place until double, about 1 hour.

Heat oven to 375°F.

Bake until light brown, 15 to 20 minutes. Make a cross on each bun with Glaze.

Makes 12 buns.

Glaze: Beat 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 1 to 2 teaspoons water until smooth and of desired consistency.
