DIXIE CHICKEN 
1 frying chicken (cut in parts), or buy parts
1/2 c. buttermilk or sour milk (make by adding lemon juice or vinegar to milk - 1 tbsp. per)
Salt
Corn flake crumbs
Ground (rubbed) sage
4 tbsp. melted butter

Salt chicken pieces. Dip in buttermilk; then coat with corn flake crumbs. Sprinkle a little sage on each piece. Arrange in a single layer in a well- buttered pan. Pour melted butter over each piece. Bake at 400 degrees for 1 hour.
