HERB SEASONED POTATO SPEARS | |
1 med. potato 2 tsp. butter, softened 1 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese 1 1/2 tsp. instant chopped onion 1/2 tsp. crushed basil 1/2 tsp. crushed oregano 1/8 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper Dash of garlic powder Scrub potato and cut into 1/2" spears. Place in a single layer on heavy duty aluminum foil. Dot with butter. Mix together cheese, onion, etc. Sprinkle about a fourth of the mixture on the potato. This recipe is easily doubled or tripled, if needed. Store remaining mixture, covered in the refrigerator. Seal foil tightly around potatoes. Bake at 400 degrees or barbecue over hot coals about 30 minutes. Turn packet over once during cooking. Makes 1 or 2 servings. |
