SUGAR 'N SPICE NUTS | |
1 c. sugar 1/4 c. water 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 2 c. walnut or pecan halves, or almonds In 4 cup microwave safe glass measure, combine sugar with water, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Microwave on high 5-7 minutes without stirring or until syrup is golden. (Syrup will continue to cook, and turn a deep brown after it's removed from microwave oven; do not over cook.) Stir in nuts to coat evenly, spoon onto wire rack over wax paper and cool to room temperature. Gently break into clusters. |
