SUGAR 'N SPICE NUTS 
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. water
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 c. walnut or pecan halves, or almonds

In 4 cup microwave safe glass measure, combine sugar with water, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Microwave on high 5-7 minutes without stirring or until syrup is golden. (Syrup will continue to cook, and turn a deep brown after it's removed from microwave oven; do not over cook.)

Stir in nuts to coat evenly, spoon onto wire rack over wax paper and cool to room temperature. Gently break into clusters.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
