QUICK SHRIMP CREO | |
2 c. raw peeled shrimp 1 bell pepper, sliced 1 med. onion, sliced 2 stalks celery, sliced 1 can tomatoes or 2 fresh, sliced 1/2 tsp. minced garlic (or 1/2 tsp. garlic powder) 1/2 tsp. onion powder 1/2 tsp. season salt 2 tbsp. butter 1 lg. (32 oz.) jar Prego (green label) Melt butter over medium heat. Add bell pepper, onion, celery and seasoning. Cook until lightly brown and tender. Add tomatoes and juice from can. When heated add Prego. When everything is hot and bubbly, add the shrimp and cook about 3 minutes. Don't over cook the shrimp or they will be tough. Serve over hot minute rice. |
