1/4 c. butter
1 pkg. (about 40) regular marshmallows or 4 c. miniature marshmallows
6 c. Rice Krispy cereal

MICROWAVE: butter and marshmallows on high in large glass bowl 2 minutes. Stir to combine and microwave for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes longer on high. Stir until smooth. Add cereal; stir until well coated. Press into buttered 13 x 9 inch pan with buttered spatula or waxed paper.

Variations: Add 1 cup raisins, peanuts or mini chocolate chips. Stir 1/4 cup peanut butter into marshmallow mixture before adding cereal. Use Rice Krispy cereal with marshmallows.
