4 slices bacon
2 tbsp. chopped onion
3 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. vinegar (white)
1/2 c. water
1 1/3 c. salad dressing

Fry bacon until crisp and brown. Drain bacon and crumble into small pieces. Set aside.

Saute onion in bacon drippings until tender. Add sugar, vinegar and water; bring to boiling point. Then cool.

Combine mixture with salad dressing, beat until smooth. stir in bacon chips and chill.
