1 c. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. baking soda
1 c. cold water
Food coloring

Mix together cornstarch and baking soda. Add cold water and several drops of food coloring.

This can be played with and stored in an airtight jar or create an item to be baked. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. The items can be painted with easel paints.
