TEDDIE APPLE CAKE 
1 1/2 c. oil
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. walnuts
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. peeled, cored, thickly sliced apples (Delicious are best)
1 c. raisins

Using an electric mixer beat oil and sugar together; add eggs and beat until creamy. Sift together salt, cinnamon and soda. Stir into batter. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into greased and floured tube or bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cool in pan 15-20 minutes. This is a very hearty cake.

GLAZE:

1/6 c. sugar
1/2 c. warm water
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. flour
1/6 c. brown sugar

Bring the ingredients to a boil; add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and pour over warm cake.
