COLD ASPARAGUS 
1 lb. jar asparagus
1/3 c. vinegar
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. sugar
1 stick cinnamon
3 whole cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. celery seed

Boil all ingredients except asparagus 5-10 minutes. Drain asparagus. Put in shallow dish. Pour over liquid and serve cold.
